The Shamen

The Shamen were a psychedelic band which was why I'd had an interest in them for a few years before this gig. It occurs to me now that even though I kept buying their albums they were always crap. Even Boss Drum, the hit album that was being promoted on this tour was boring. Anyway, the reason most folk were at this all night gig was because the single Ebeneezer Goode had been a number one hit and hugely popular with the rave crowd.
What's quite embarrassing about this is that I can't remember anything about the music at all.Richard had brought a friend along called Maureen and I spent the whole night chatting her up. This was the first occasion I'd left a gig at six in the morning and there's nothing worse than going home totally wasted in bright daylight.
