The Young Gods

No, my mother did not come along to this gig. I was worried that her anthropological studies were turning into something more macabre and I'm sure I heard her murmer the word vivisection under her breath a few times.
I had just started a full time job and was enjoying my new found wealth by going out to clubs and drinking as much as possible with a friend of mine called Richard. We both had a fondness for Industrial music which I guess could be described as somewhere between heavy metal done bycomputers and hardcore dance music. If you liked Industrial music then this was the gig of the year.
Sheep On Drugs were a pair of camp old punks who were great fun live. I saw them loads of times and they were never less than entertaining. As for the music, well that was never really the point. Meat Beat Manifesto were tremendous and I wish they were as good on record as they were at this gig. As for The Young Gods they were completely forgetable as I've now completely forgotten about them.
