The Jesus Lizard

The Jesus Lizard had a great reputation for their live performances and I have to say that this was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. They played their best tracks, David Yow was particularly insane and the crowd were all well into it. Fantastic.
Next time you go to the LA2 have a look at the lighting rig hanging from the ceiling and then imagine David Yow dropping the twenty feet towards you, howling. Yikes, as they say.
Rather typically they didn't play London again after this and then split up a year later.
