I think this was the last time I saw Strangelove and they were very good as always.
They were supported by a guy called Simon Warner who was doing stuff very much like the Divine Comedy. I must have quite liked him (or been very drunk) because I bought his CD in the lobby but I haven't played the CD since so I don't know.
Anyway, Strangelove split up and all the members seem to have vanished since as is too often the way with these things. I think Stephen Duff started a band called Moon who've released a few singles and I spotted the drummer with a new band featured in Q magazine.
