No Way Sis

In case you don't know, No Way Sis were an Oasis cover band. I say 'were' because there can't be much demand for them now.
I can understand the attraction of tribute bands. A band gets really big but you still want to see them in a small venue or maybe the lead singer is dead and you still want to hear your fav songs in gig-o-phonic sound. While I appreciate this I'm still really ashamed of owning this ticket.
Firstly it's the fact that they insist on looking like the original. The original Liam Gallagher and his simian arm movements are ludicrous enough but some other guy imitating him perfectly is just macabre. Add the hairstyle and it just gets worse.
Secondly, it's imitations of their act. The guitarist in NWS would do a few songs on his own with only an acoustic guitar just like Noel used to. I even heard that at other gigs the 'brothers' would argue on stage.
Thirdly it's the fact that Oasis were so big at the time that one of their cover bands could do a full size venue at full price with idiots like me paying when they really belonged in a pub. Oh, the shame.
